It all began with a new website, custom designed according to the client’s needs. Arthur was quite specific in the look and feel he wanted and that's what we gave him. This is possible because we do not make use of templates for our websites.
Arthur realised that he could increase sales with e-commerce. An online shop was added with over 300 stock items. Arthur also had some logistical challenges, spanning stock over 4 locations, and we found that Shopify was the most cost-effective solution for him.
Arthur wanted to know if he was making a profit or not, and he needed to manage his expenses more closely. A modern accounting system was required that could operate anywhere. XERO submits the BAS Report directly to the Australian Tax Organisation and can also directly submit and pay Superannuation to your Superfund.
There were items which hadn’t been sold in months, some years. eBay was used to get rid of the old stock. eBay was directly integrated with Shopify to show available items and all sales went through Shopify and then updated into XERO.
We automated all these aspects of Arthur’s business so that all components worked together seamlessly and, could be managed from a mobile phone. We even helped him make stock take easier. All this was done remotely from Cape Town, South Africa to Sydney, Australia.
